Notes
*w/Another One Bites The Dust tease
**w/Ray White on vocals
***w/vocals
Note: Disc three has the perfect amount of space left to include Ray White's Talking Shoes opening set, which included sit-ins from two Umphrey's members. Ray is not 'archive-friendly' so you'll have to track my recording down some other way. The complete tracking would end with:
5. Spring Water
6. instrumental jam> Freddie's Dead
7. Illinois Enema Bandit#
8. Hendrix jam> Band of Gypsies jam> 3rd Stone jam> ##
9. City of Tiny Lights ##

Currently there is a torrent running here for the Talking Shoes set: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=19001
No guarantees how long it'll be available...
Let's give a big standing ovation to Browning who made the Pageant sound decent for once. Kudos! Thanks again to Umphrey's for allowing taping, and for blowing my mind this Friday night.
Subject: somebodies confused
The way they play music is unprecedented. I listen to all styles of music and umphstyle is the best. Its a variety of different styles, mainly good ol' rock played at fuckin hyperspeed. the only band that can create a song with words through improv on stage(jimmy stew). Im sorry for disagreeing.
By the way great fucking show and sound quality as usual. it's hard to find a UM show with bad sound quality.

Absolutely stellar recording though, especially for a nonmatrix aud, everything is crispy and clear - and again, viva UM radio, allowing me to tune in when I can't be there in person - thank you tapers!
Also, Ray White was a member of archive-friendly bands KVHW and Big E; did anybody actually ask him for permission to throw his Talking Shoes sets up here? or was that a guess - what's the deal there - I would also hope that UM's pro-archive position might rub off on the bands they interact with on their travels.

- "But I will still say these guys have talent but absoluely no style what so ever"
One thing I always belived about Umphrey's is that they are "untouchable." They can cover a song and do more than justice to it, but not many bands woulc be able to do that with some of Umphrey's songs that they ROCK on the stage. I find it hard to believe that someone who listened to them for more than five minutes wouldn't understand something about them. Take some more time to listen to the music and less "reviewing" them. Please.
Subject: Great recording
This is a pretty jammy show, and has alot of great highlights.
Subject: Talkin Shoes
