Great show. Enough said. By the way, don't give the show 1 star because 12/29 isn't posted. What are you, an idiot? Get off the internet

Anybody think this one will be posted?

thanks to whoever uploaded this for me. as for the sound quality, its not a soundboard. a lot of people have told me these are the best recordings they have ever heard from the aragon ballroom, so im extremely pleased with and proud of the results. if its still not good enough for you pay the money for the boards. as you arent going to get a sbd source on the archive of this show for free. as for this night there was only one other taper and his rig was clamped to my stand, so you will get a similar sound if he ever chooses to spread his source. if not be grateful for what you have. that being said, ive made lots of better sounding tapes so im not against giving my own source a 3 star rating, just as i gave my source from last year the same (if i remember correctly). its just the limitations of the room, though i think kevin did the best he could. ive never heard the room sound better, and i think the tape represents the sound you got in there.

I have +80 shows of UMcGee and I must say how the show of past year is too better than one. Setlist and performance is OK but the sound is poor. I like too much 29-12. Grettings from Spain

I was at the 30-31 shows, and i would have to say after seeing them twice at summercamp and once at 10klf this year, this would have to of been my favorite. I personally think audience recordings are much better then SBD because it actually sounds like what you heard other then a direct feed of the instruments.

I also love hearing random croud talk between songs, kind of makes you feel back there!

but as for the 31st, it was crouded and hot, but holy shit was it an amazing show

Everyone seems to be complaining about the quality, just buy the soundboard if you are so picky. This recording sounds similar to how it sounded from the mainfloor. It's in the same genre of what Captain Beefheart called "Bush recordings." I like audience recordings better personally, I don't need it to be perfect. Though in my opinion it's still damn good and it sounds sweaty. I wonder if the soundboard sounds sweaty?

Subject: A Classic!!!
Having been there all 3 nights, I can honestly say(IMO), that this is the best UM show I have seen(so far). From TajM opening to the end, It was classic UMPHREYS. As for the recording, do yourself a favor and BUY the soundboard recordings; you will not be disappointed. The 5 stars are for the soundboard recordings.

For the soundboards, you can go to the umphrey's site and for a fair $35 you can get all 3 amazing shows. i broke down and dropped the $35 and I'm so glad i did....They sound great. Can't wait for the FOB to finish. Thanks for puting it up. And like everyone else, where's the other 2 nights? 4 stars. only because i have the 5 star sbds.

Subject: What a show
Wow, this is one of the better UM setlists I have seen in awhile. The sound quality is not that great but for me it is soundboard or bust anymore.

The "Dick in a Box" cover is amazing!!!

Subject: Where's the other shows?
I downloaded this from BT and left it in a wav file, the sound is pretty solid for such a big venue if you don't compress it to mp3. But for real, whos got the other shows??? me wantee

Subject: Great show, weak recording
As greatful as i am that i can relive this night, the sound quality here is not up to par. I regret not purchasing this at the concert but hopefully someone will put up a different version because this does not do the concert justice.
