Subject: Damn, these guys shred!
My first UM show was this one at Bonnaroo and I was immediately hooked...these guys rock! I was pretty psyched when I found this show here and was able to relive what I saw but in much better detail. You can't really appreciate what they do until you listen to something like this and are able to hear all of the hairpin turns they take. Great stuff.

Likewise, didn't make it to Bonnaroo, but this is a great set, good sound and a good example of the bands growth the past year...one of the better festival recordings of um i've heard.

proper spelling *phish* not fish. and string cheese experiment? never heard of them are they a cover band of string cheese incident? noob. it's okay though guy. im not a hater. i didn't make bonnaroo, but have seen umphs a bunch and this is a pretty good set with decent sound.

My first Umphries show ever, but will not be my last. I was in awe of these guys most of the show. Easily in my top 3 favorite performances at Bonnaroo this year.

Subject: Sick show
UM had their A-game on for this show. A harder edge than usual, maybe to match up with PJ and Metallica. Definitely worth getting. Recording quality is better than some of the other 'Roo shows I've gotten so far, but still not tops. Deducting one star for that.

i can't believe so few people have downloaded this show so far. the setlist is great, bridgeless, higgins, wizard and miss tinkle are always welcome and wappy has fast become one of my favorites. the sound is not to good for the first song but i think that is the soundguy rather than the taper, the rest of the tape is as crisp and clear as a soundboard (i know you read that all the time and most of the time its a bunch of crap but this time its the truth)thanks so much to dennis and daniel for their efforts. maybe this one will be a slow burner.
