Subject: A fine vintage film from 1960.
I was not sure what to expect when I downloaded the film. It started out with the noise of a harbor in a busy city. But it shifted quickly to the principle character, a young, bright engineering graduate who felt called to the ministry. The film is about commitment, sacrifice, and love---a love that surpasses all human understanding.

It was quite different to see Angie Dickinson as a brunette; I didn't realize she was in the female lead until I read more about the film later. I felt all the principle actors did a fine job. This movie will appeal to audiences who understand the passion and the sacrifice of men and women overseas serving as missionaries. It's not for whiney crybabies, and this film brings that home.

I downloaded the mpeg2 and preserved it as a DVD for my church friends, and for my grandson when he is a bit older.

Many thanks to those that worked hard to preserve this fine film and brought it to this web site.

Subject: Faith Above All Else
The story of a father whose son chooses faith over family fortune. After the loss of his son, the father realizes that faith can be expressed in more ways than one. A good film to watch with your children.
