omar salgado[unfound31] omar salgado - obelysko (May 15, 2007)

unfoundsound presents the second ep from argentina's omar salgado. this time around, you get some deep, clicky tunes that are deliciously minimal. slightly different than his debut release on unfoundsound, obelysko offers four heady tracks with a touch of tripped-out chaos beneath the groovy rhythms. each track is cleverly stripped-down and ripe for djs. maybe you don't see omar salgado touring around the world very much, but he is indeed a special producer for our time.

Subject: Lots of cool microsounds and effects...
...but overall doesn't quite retain the groove that is more apparent on the amazing "Miniatura" and "Dinamic" EPs.
