Subject: Missing Pages are Illustrations
I just picked up an original copy of this book (quite an amazing compilation) and the missing pages on the online version are illustrations-one on each side. So there is no missing text.

My copy is a first edition as far as I know (1904), not sure if there where other editions.

Subject: Short Understand if the missing page 117-118
The original 1904 copy of this book, Vivilore, had a publishers misprint error the skipped the pages numbers 117 and 118. There are no missing pages in the digital copy of this book, there was just a skip in the page numbering order. This misprint would make the book shorter by two pages, bringing the total pages in this book to just 676 pages.
