Subject: You can't use the word "quintessential" with Mystified...
...because just as you think you have him figured out he throws you a curve ball. However, Free Passage is for me the quintessential Mystified track. Actually has been since I heard it, but consider this official documentation :-)
It has everything Thomas is good at - ambient drones, tricky rhythms, sampling as high art, and the unexpected. Let the train roll through the night!

Subject: It's a shame really...
...that this one is so short. Seems like he's just starting to find out where it is the train is headed when it ends.
This one starts slow, and builds into a nice full-on funky groove, he then takes the foot off the gas for a downhill cost. Picks back up (sorta) around the 3/4 point, then coasts out at the end. A short trip, but one definitely worth taking.

Entspannend, aber nicht einschlÃÂäfernd. Minimalistisch, aber nicht langweilig. Wohl aber zur kurz. :-)

Subject: Skimmed Milk of Eno
I found myself skimming, so keep that in mind... but I realized I was hearing the heavy digital organ feedback of 70s era Eno and, as much as I enjoy that kind of thing, it's kind of been-there-done-that. Nothing remarkable here. As other have already said, the end is very relaxing however.

Subject: Soothing
A relaxing and consistent journey. Some parts are distinct, yet they tie together in terms of style. The idea of taking a trip is a good one, and is well-rendered here.

Relaxed me. Very slow "progressive". Relaxing. Try lay on your living room floor for this. With your eyes closed. Think of......nothing or count your heartbeat. After 20 minutes you should still be awake. If not, you can't say you didn't like the music. It certainly did not sound disturbing in you ears = you must like it a little bit if you very there at the end.
