Field recordings and processed ambient sounds carry you to a distant land in this "Rain" related album, mixed live for the Grove of Whispers radio program.
About the album:
Performed on
stillstream.com October 14, 2012.
Done live using midi controller, hackintosh and personal field recordings. Music fashioned using the buddhalizer --a virtual extension of my imagination.
Several samples from the
Indonesian Sound Archive were used. Thank you Derek Bacon for your excellent recordings.
Grove of Whispers is John Tocher. John does the
Sadayatana podcast and plays live several nights a week on
Stillstream. He also releases dark and experimental music at
Buddhist on Fire.
