Oval label with engraved signature of Jno. Grant. Presentation inscription on front free endpaper from "John Till-Adams to his Friend Mary Brookes"; John Till-Adams is mentioned on p. 208 of text. Signature on t.p. of Jos.h Brook, dated 1776
