Subject: Wrong World's Fair...
This isn't San Francisco. It's New York. There were two World's Fairs in 1939. One was on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay and one was in the borough of Queens in New York City. This is the latter.

Subject: Not as good as Pt.1
Without the color, the film seemed more drab than the first part. Billy Rose's Aquacade was probably the most successful attraction in the 1939 Fair. Lots of water and lighting effects.
The theme of "World of Tomorrow" was euphemistic
with war already starting in Europe.

Subject: The World's Fair is not MEANT to be boring!
Slightly boring overview of the 1939 World's Fair.. WHAT? I thought all of these were supposed to be interesting? Maybe I was wrong, because this has lots of lingering around statues and artwork, and makes it less interesting then it should be. Also, the fact that this film slows down in places definitely doesn't help. The only interesting parts of this were the 'live' statues that I'm sure were nude. I wonder what the stories of these were..
