From the makers of Amid the Dead (also available on the Internet Archive) comes an experimental video about loss of identity. A young woman puts on the Wrong Coat and is driven to madness by a carny who slums around abandoned industrial sites. Stop motion sequences, an atmospheric original soundtrack, and a sinister climax of fire & animal suits make The Wrong Coat a memorable viewing experience.

Subject: Wow
Soooo surreal... And yet, awesome. The quality of cinematography and the soundtrack are both very impressive.
Think Eraserhead, only cooler and not nearly as long.

Subject: good short film
I may be prejudiced, as someone who worked on Amid The Dead with Kate, but I thought this was definitely worth the 13 minutes required to watch it.
The only thing that might annoy people who hang around the Internet Archive a lot is the heavy use of black and white archival footage not directly related to the plot. I think the archival footage fits, though, and is not completely random. It is also somewhat lacking in plot, so if you like plots, you may not enjoy this film.
It does, however, have excellent music and creates a definite and interesting atmosphere... it has good cinematography. I just like the vibes the movie gives off. Artistic, I would say. I also say you should watch this movie, and wish that I could be more coherent about why you should.
