Subject: Simply Amazing

This is an amazing capture of an amazing performace. I'm not sure if the "Road Show" concepts was Glen's or not but the shows were simply amazing. I downloaded both this show and the New York show. Both sound good, this one shines as great. The performers and the recording are amazing. The recording makes me think this concert took place in my living room, the talent level of all the performers is terrific. Glen continously surrounds himself with other great musicians (check out the Mutual Admiration Society shows) and the setting made this and amazing show. I'd say the highlights are Crutch by Glen, Downtown Line by Griffin, and Come Around by Kim Richey. If you are wavering trying to decide if this is a show to check out, just download the mp3 versions of those tracks and you'll be hooked!

Good show, and i can say that because i was there. Glen Phillips was the main draw, but was overshadowed by Kim Richey and Griffin House. Amazing talent in a small venue is a hard find. The highlight of the show was, suprisingly, Griffin's heartfelt "the guy who says goodbye to you must be out of his mind." Give this show a chance, you won't be sorry.
