Subject: Complete 1997-05-09 on the way
Hi, folks --
Just doing some browsing around now that we've begun The Petrified Wu Project, and I noticed this one's incomplete and sourced from a gen1 cassette. Not to worry, I've got the master DATs of both set 1 & 2 here in The Wu Vault and as I have time I'll make sure this one gets prioritized for an upgrade. Thanks to Jesse for getting this out here and I'll see what I can do to get the rest of it into circulation.

Subject: Missing songs...
Hmmm...not sure where the rest ended up. I am pretty sure they ended up on a different DAT, none of which I have anymore. Can't really say what happened to them. Too bad, I remember an excellent end to this long ass show.
I am not sure if I actually taped this or not. Usually if I was taping with Paul's mics I would use the Shure SM81s, which I personally like better (and were about 1/3 the price of the Sennheiser's, probably why Paul let me borrow them!).
The good 'ole days of the CCC, for sure. So many memories.

Subject: My first Wu show
Totally blown away. Found a flyer underneath the windsheild wiper of my car in dinkytown before the show and decided to check it out. There was probably 40 peeps in the audience and once Jack-a-roe struck up, everyone was shakin'. Terry is on guitar, which is a rarity even in other acoustic sets. Sorry I couldn't find the second half of the second set to encode.

Subject: Acoustic Big Wu
A gem for old school Wu Fans. Great set list, acoustic rarity for the band, and great quality. Thanks for sharing Scott!
