Buzz[xgn024] Buzz (December 19, 2005)

After some delay, we finally release xgn024 by the mighty Buzz. With releases set for Santorin and more on Plain Audio, you'll be hearing more from him in the future.
But for now, Buzz provides a solid introduction on Exegene with two contrasting tracks.
'Strange Days' kicks off the show with some whispering strings and pads, rolling percussion and brilliantly manipulated sound effects whilst he builds up tension. Deep subbasses come into play along with a slicing synthline and crunchy breaks.
'Ziony' on the other hand creates a vibe reminiscent to the old Reinforced Records sound. Lightly drifting pads, wallowing basses and crisp sketchy breaks pave the way for this deep spaced-out track.
