Subject: No Joke - Xavier Rudd is AWESOME!
I'm new to the Australian music scene ... this is such a fantastic recording. When he plays it is so clear I sometimes forget that it's live. Then when the crowd whoops it up I start feeling even more excitement about his performance. Xavier is one fantastic entertainer. I feel such positive energy from this recording, I play it often. I hope I can catch his show next time he comes thru Seattle. I want to be up front - this guy is as energizing and soothing as the ocean!

Subject: THE BEST XAVIER SHOW PERIOD!!!
Thanks for this!!!
Soundboard recording + some of the best mic's (km-184's) available--matrixed, sweet venue and great crowd, almost 2 full CD's worth of music, and I almost forgot the most important thing---Xavier is on FIRE!!! AMAZING show--honestly this is the show to grab, and I have most of them.
Thanks again, O'B
PS- Definitely 5 Stars+ *****

His voice is a little hoarse at times, but the guy can play. Nasty

Subject: Great Intro to Xavier
This show is a great intro to Xavier.. If you have never heard Xavier, you are missing out.. He is amazing!
This recording is great and has it all...
High energy, intense playing, and great sound!! Some of the other shows have alot of background noise, but this one seems to have the perfect balance.. the crowd gets into it when hen their suppose too (except at the end, when someone keeps shouting for him to play green spandix,) and the music is clear and crisp. If you get any Xavier recordings (which you should,) get this one!

Subject: best show on the site
I have pulled a decent amount of Xavier shows off of the site and this is the all around best. Both cds are cripsy sound, good mix of sbd/aud, good setlist. The vibe is right where it needs to be and this show puts you there. Get this one.

Damn Smokey! One would think that our great Northern neighbors would have more respect than to talk right beside the damn soundboard.

Don't get me wrong, the sound quality is amazing, but the GD social crowd is annoying as Hell with headphones...even during the songs but most notably during song intros.

This show sounds amazing! Guess what's what doing a thousand dollar matrix will get ya. Nice job man! Xavier is amazing too.

Subject: Superb Quality
The sound quality on this is excellent. A lot of "WOOOOOOOO!"s and a little bit of background murmurs, but overall it's great. Smoking show! This is my first Xavier Rudd recording and I'm diggin' it hard.

Subject: Xavier in Toronto; Finally
This is a superb recording of Xavier in the intimate confines of the Horseshoe Tavern. A great set list and a really good soundboard recording complete with crowd noise. The set list is similar to earlier sets throughout the fall 2004 North American tour.

This performance highlights the progression of some of his yet to be released new songs. The version of the Bass/Dij Jam on this recording is just fabulous and one of the many highlights of the performance.

A definite keeper. Again, great job David...

Notes

no fades between disc 1/2 - will reassemble seamlessly

I mistakenly seeded this with the Sep 30th date originally - it was in fact the 29th. This just corrects the date error - it's the same show.
