Subject: Cold Night In Chicago
I was at this concert, it was a cold night. Last year I seen Rudd in Detroit and in Indy. after seeing Rudd in Detroit I hopped in my car two days later and went to Indy by myself. The crowd energy is what I fell in love with. The show at the Vic was very cool and I could tell that the crowd has done this before unlike Detroit where people just stood there with their mouths open, I can tell now who the first timer are. Rudd`s performance was the best of the three shows I have been to so far. I love it when he starts "up in flames" and comes back to it over and over. It is nice to see Rudd at these small places not named after large corporations but I think he will need bigger places soon. I will go see Rudd 600 miles from me any time. The people at the concert makes you feel safe and will even hold your spot 2 rows back to get a $6 can of beer with no micro brew in sight at the Vic. When I was in Indy I could get Bells and not in a plastic cup. Worth the money and a great performer to bring a date to.
