"Youth Speaks Poet" by Carmen Almodovar and Brietta O'Neal explores the importance of poetry in the life of a young San Francisco artist, Sara Daley. An active participant in the San Francisco based organization YouthSpeaks, Sara writes poetry to express her views about the war in Iraq, her family and friends. The video shows how the arts can be a source of strength, clarity, and community in young peoples lives.
