* This is the info I got from Harold May: Audience PCM
Master > 1st Gen Cassette (Harold May) > CD - Recorded by
Randy (last name unknown), from the sweet spot, middle of
the floor. Unknown Mic's and PCM deck. The 1st Gen
cassette was recorded on a Denon home style deck. 1st Gen
Cassette playback on Nakamichi DR-2 > Tascam CD-RW 700 CD
Recorder. PCM Master >1st Gen Cassette, and transfer of
1st Gen Cassette to CD by Harold May.
"I forgot to mention one Zero show which you might be
interested in getting. It is not on my list. I am not
sure, but I do not think it is incirculation. Zero,
7/14/88 at the Cotati Cabaret, Cotati, CA. I was at the
show. It's with Cipollina. Do you know the Zero taper
named Randy who recorded all their shows back in the
mid/late '80's/early 90's ? I can'tremember his last name.
He used to work at the Cotati Co-Op. Anyway I gotto know
him a little bit, and my original copy of this show is on
cassette, which I recorded at Randy's home from his
Audience Master. Front of House, sweet spot. I do not know
the Mic's he used. I think his Master would be considered
PCM. It was digital, but recorded on Beta tapes. The
bummer is that I only have the first ~75 minutes of the
show, and that's all. I useda home Denon cassette deck to
record the show from the Master, and used myNakamichi DR-2
cassette deck for playback and to transfer the show to CD
on my Tascam CD-RW 700 CD Recorder. It's currently on 2
disc's (side A, side B), and not tracked. Side A, Disc 1
cuts during the middle of a song, but Side B, Disc 2
starts at the beginning of the same song. Let me know..."
