Check out the whole run. Great song selection all 3 nights. There are far too many highlights to know where to start--all beautifully recorded.
DL the whole batch and spoil yourself.

Christmas came a little early when I found this [and a bunch of other Zero shows] had been posted! Solid recording/performance from start to finish. Highlights for me were "She Caught the Katy", "Gregg's Eggs" and "Cripple Creek"

I got into SKB around 2000/01 and I have been slowly moving backwards to check out all of the great material from Zero and KVHW. Having all of these top shelf recordings available on Archive is definitely making it easier to connect the dots.

Unbelievable I am the first to review this incredible run at Chester's from March 1998. This run were the first Zero/Kimock shows I ever heard. My introduction to Steve were 5th generation audience tapes I got from a buddy of mine who was at this show. He came back to school in Norman, OK the next week a changed man. He told me I missed the best weekend of music I will ever see and hear. Well, I've been a Kimock fanatic ever since then, following Steve's whereabouts and doings for 7 years now.

Anyway, these three shows will always be super special for me. Not to mention the setlists and the playing are just amazing. Steve's playing is just blistering hot all three nights. If you love Steve Kimock's music and have never heard Zero, or have and like Zero, I suggest you get this entire run at Chester's 1998.

I can not thank you enough Charlie and Pat. You guys ARE the shit.

Notes
