Subject: Martin will be missed, this tribute should not
This is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful
contributions to the LMA. The playing throughout is awe-inspiring and truly brings out all of the emotion that, I'm sure, the band was feeling on this night.

More pure gold from Pete at Monkey Tunes, thank you so much for capturing the spirit of this gathering. Anytime you lose someone who means something to you, it is hard, but some time had passed and this was more of a joyful celebration than a grieving. Martin was so missed, but "Harvey" was on stage with some Patron Tequila, and the spirit moved us with an array of musicians who loved him and assembled to give us all an evening to remember. Nice set from Matty, Eric, and the Fierro-less Quartet. Jessica Fierro stole the night, listen to her annunciation and phrasing on "Fool on the Hill," and pass the Kleenex.
I loved Judge's growling on "Catalina" & "Horses," with nice harmonies from Donna, they always sound great together. Kimock was dialed in all night, with a picture of Martin facing him as he played. Banana gave us some nice vocals on "Riding with the King (Martin)," and a soul stirring "Like a Road" which was a standout version, saluting Martin with Melvin's Hammond B3 sending the tender vibes upward. John Morgan continues to play beyond his years and Greg was like that drummer from the Muppets, a total wild man. Great to see Chip and Pete Sears may be my favorite living musician. What a treat to have Bobby Vega funkin' around and Tony Saunders also phat slapping the bass. Jon Farey & Hadi tastefully found their fill, with subtlety and sweetness. Download this for Martin's honor and for your bad self. Gold Jerry, Gold!

Subject: Thanks for Nothing! ;-)
Many thanks for uploading this festive farewell to Martin Fierro. Sure, the crowd is chatty, but the recording is plenty listenable. Thanks also for including the pre-Zero portion. Little Jessica Fierro's singing is priceless!

Subject: Rip Martin
Not a dry eye in the entire place I am sure. RIP Martin may your spirit live on through your wonderful music you've given us over the years. STD is a great choice for an opener if you ask me. As a happy note SK&BV seem to have patched things up and are back together onstage once again.
