Aquabatic Bubble GumAquabatic Bubble Gum - Elevation of Anxiety #2 (1985)

The Elevation of Anxiety works are my collaborations with Minóy recorded by both of us (sometimes his mix - as in all of the m\z tapes; sometimes mine). These started in 1985 when I mixed together a couple Minóy tapes. The titles with lots of M's and Z's are part of this series which evolved as we sent tapes back and forth, adding more goodies to each other's mix. These also include Aquabatic Bubblegum, Dubzanmex and Zanminóysextra.

Whenever you listen to this, you would notice most of the parts played back at 1/2 speed. It may sound kinda funny when you hear people talking or singing at that speed, but in this Aquabatic Bubble Gum work, the results work out well. There are some parts played at normal speed and a few played at 2X speed. Listening to this is almost good for relaxation. But don't get too relaxed... esecially at the end of Track 2 where a little more noise would follow after 15 or more seconds of silence. This montage of recorded sounds at different playback speeds is done rahter nicely. Also try listening to it at 2X speed. That's another way to experience "Elevation of Anxiety #2."
