Reviewer:jimelena - - June 5, 2007 Subject: I don't understand In this episode we hear the army captain say, "I don't understand." He hasn't been following along. It's easy, people ride around on horses very fast, first one way then a different camera angle of the same ride. Then they shoot their guns in the air, do some sword fighting, then blow something up.
Reviewer:Jah Gussi - - November 6, 2006 Subject: The Color Issue Yes we can verify this is in fact in colour just two black and white or millions if you count all the diffrent shades of gray and black. Great stuff for us that ain't seen this stuff before. Here's a funny little thing just when you thought black and white days where over they start making movies in black and white again under the banner of its arty. And my digital camera eight megpixels has a black and white option how stupid is that. It's about a year old now.
Reviewer:specs - - July 28, 2006 Subject: zorro's -happy times at the movies I am downloading this serial right now and I noticed on chapter five, you mention in your foot notes, that this chapter is in color. I said to myself, "really, in color. Let me check the thumbnail for each minute". Imagine that, no color. To the person that wrote the commentary, none of the serials ever produced were in color. The reason being, no money for such a luxury as that. Also, 1939, color was expensive. There barely had the funds to make films in color let alone serials which were ground out in 2 weeks. 5 stars for the serials and no stars for the commentary for chapter five.
