Bonjour,

Salutations a chacun.

Saved - How To becomea Christian how to be saved

A Christian is someone who believes the following

Steps to Take in order to become a true Christian, to be Saved & Havea real relationship & genuine experience with the real God

Read, understand, accept and believe the following verses from the Bible:

1. All men are sinners and fall short of God’s perfect standard

Romans 3: 23 states that

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

2. Sin - which is imperfection in our lives - denies us eternal life with God. But God sent his son J esus Christ as a gift to give us freely Eternal Life by believing on J esus Christ.

Romans 6: 23 states

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God Is eternal life through J esus Christ our Lord.

3. You can be saved, and you are saved by Faith in J esus Christ. You cannot be saved by your good works, because they are not "good enough". But God’s good work of sending J esus Christ to save us, and our response of believing - of having faith - in J esus Christ, that is what saves each of us.

Ephesians 2: 8-9 states 8 For by grace are ye saved through

faith; and that not of yourselves: it Is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

4.God did not wait for us to become perfect in order to accept or unconditionally love us. He sent

J esus Christ to save us, even though we are sinners. So J esus Christ died to save us from our sins, and to save us from eternal separation from God.

Romans 5:8 states

But God commendeth his love toward us, In that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5. God loved the world so much that He sent his one and only Son to die, so that by believing in J esus Christ, we obtain Eternal Life.

| ohn 3: 16 states

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

6. If you believe in J esus Christ, and in what he did on the Cross for us, by dying there for us, you know fora

fact that you have been given Eternal Life.

|| ohn 5: 13 states

These things have | written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

7. lf you confess your sins to God, he hears you take this step, and you can know for sure that He does hear you, and his response to you Is to forgive you of those sins, so that they are not remembered against you, and not attributed to you ever again.

|| ohn 1: 9 states

lf we confess our sins, he Is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If you believe these verses, or want to believe these verses, pray the following:

" Lord J esus, | need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. | open the door of my life and ask you

to save me from my sins and give me eternal life. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life. | receive you as my Savior and Lord. Please take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be. Help me to understand you, and to know you and to learn how to follow you. Free me from all of the things in my life that prevent me from following you. In the name of the one and only and true J esus Christ! ask all these things now, Amen".

Does this prayer express your desire to know God and to want to know His love ? If you are sincere In praying this prayer, J esus Christ comes into your heart and your life, just as He said he would.

It often takes courage to decide to become a Christian. Itis the right decision to make, but It is difficult to fight against part of ourselves that wants to hang on, or to find against that part of our selves that has trouble changing. The good news Is

that you do not need to change yourself. } ust Cry out to God, pray and he will begin to change you. God does not expect you to become perfect before you come to Him. Not at all...this is why He sent] esus...Sso that we would not have to become perfect before being able to know God.

Steps to take once you have asked Ι esus to come into your life

Find the following passages in the Bible and begin to read them:

1. Read Psalm 23 (in the middle of the Old Testament - the 1st half of the Bible)

2. Read Psalm 91

3. Read the Books in the New Testament (in the Bible) of J ohn, Romans & || ohn

4. Tell someone of your prayer and your seeking God. Share that with someone close to you.

5. Obtain some of the books on the list of books, and begin to read

them, so that you can understand more about God and how He works. 6. Pray, that is - just talk to and with God, thank Him for saving you, and tell him your

fears and concerns, and ask him for help and guidance.

7. email or tell someone about the

great decision you have made today Hl

Does the "being saved" process only work for those who believe ?

For the person who is not yet saved, their understanding of 1) their state of sin and 2) God's personal love and care for them, and His desire and ability to save them....is what enables anyone to become saved.

So yes, the "being saved" process works only for those

who believe in J esus Christ and Him only, and place their faith in Him and in His work done on the Cross.

...and if so , then how does believing Save a person?

Believing saves a person because of what it allows God to do in the Heart and Soul of that person.

But itis not simply the fact of a "belief". The issue is not having "belief" but rather what we have a belief about.

IF a person believes in Salvation by Faith Alone in J esus Christ (ask us by email if this is not clear), then That belief saves them. Why ? because they are magical ?

No, because of the sovereignty of God, because of what God does to them, when they ask him into their heart & life. When a person decides to place their faith in J esus Christ

and ask Him to forgive them of

their sins and invite J esus Christ into their life & heart, this is what saves them - because of what God does for them at that moment in time.

At that moment in time when they sincerely believe and ask God to save them (as described above), God takes the life of that person, and in accordance with the will of that human, having requested God to save them from their sins through J esus Christ - God takes that person’s life and sins [all sins past, present and future], and allocates them to the category: of "one of those people who Accepted the Free Gift of Eternal Salvation that God offers",

From that point forward, their sins are no longer counted against them, because that is an account that is paid by the shed blood of J esus Christ. And there is no person that could ever sin so much, that God’s love would not be good enough for them, or that would somehow not be able to be covered by the penalty of

death that J esus Christ paid the price for. (otherwise, sin would be more powerful than J esus Christ - which is not true).

Sometimes, People have trouble believing in J esus Christ because of two extremes:

First the extreme that they are not sinners (usually, this means thata person has not committed a "serious" sin, such as "murder", but God says that all sins separates us from God, even supposedly-small sins. We - as humans - tend to evaluate sin into more serious and less serious categories, because we do not understand just how serious "small" sin is).

Since we are all sinners, we all have a need for God, in order to have etemal salvation.

Second the extreme that they are not good enough for J esus Christ to save them. This is basically done by those who reject the Free offer of Salvation by Christ] esus because those people are -literally - unwilling

to believe. After death, they will believe, but they can only chose Eternal Life BEFORE they die.

The fact is that all of us, are not good enough for J esus Christ to save them. That is why Paul wrote in the Bible "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Thankfully, that is not the end of the story, because he also wrote " For the wages of sin js death; but the gift of God is eternal life through J esus Christ our Lord."(Romans 6: 23)

That Free offer of salvation is clarified in the following passage:

J ohn 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Prayers that count The prayers that God hears

We don't make the rules any more than you do. We just want to help others know how to reach God, and know that God cares about them personally.

The only prayers that make it to Heaven where God dwells are those prayers that are prayed directly to Him "through J] esus Christ" or "in

the name of J esus Christ’.

God hears our prayers because we obey the method that God has established for us to be able to reach him. If we want Him to hear us, then we must use the methods that He has given us to communicate with Him.

And he explains - in the New Testament - what that method is: talking to God (praying) in accordance with God’s will - and coming to Him in the name of ] esus Christ. Here are some examples of that from the New Testament:

(Acts 3:6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus C hrist of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Isaiah 40:31 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I Thessalonians 4: 13_-5:6

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them

which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,

even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive

and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice

of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them

in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night,

nor of darkness.6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Matthew 25:1-13

25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made,

Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise,

Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 Butthe wise answered, saying, Notso; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 Buthe answered and said, Verily | say unto you, | Know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour

wherein the Son of man cometh.
