&#13;
Buddhist tantra encompasses a rich tradition of transformative practices that are preceded by cultivating insight into three main aspects that embody the essence of the Buddhaâs teachings. With the foundational knowledge of renunciation (the wish to emerge from dissatisfaction), bodhichitta (the spirit of enlightenment), and the correct view of emptiness (the wisdom realizing the way things exist), the practice of tantra can be an effective and accelerated path to complete fulfillment of our potential.&#13;
&#13;
In this course, using a concise text that clearly describes these three principal aspects written by the great Tibetan scholar Lama Tsongkhapa, we will explore how to develop and deepen the understanding of these core concepts that serve as prerequisites for the study and practice of tantra in Buddhism.</description>
