Nagli is a small grain, red in colour and resembling a mustard seed. Like paddy of either species it is a quar- terly crop. It is cultivated in a way similar to that of Kada, but with this difference that it is invariably grown in jarayat or dry-crop land, while Kada, as already men- tioned, is always grown in Kyari or rice-land.
