The actual cost of sinking a well in Atgam in 1925-26 was as
follows:—
The internal diameter of the well measured 8^ feet.
The outer diameter of the well measured 11 feet.
Height of the masonry work built 24 feet.
The circular piece of wood 12"X12"S the Chaki, on which the
masonry wall was built.
