The concert hall is 100 years old and very boomy-sounding. I set up the stereo microphone at the front of the balcony. The recording turned out much less boomy than the sound from the floor.

Note: There were some short gaps in the recording. I removed the gaps with Sound Forge and the disturbance is now less annoying.
