Three oxidised fragments, totalling 676g, are preserved nothing is known of their history. An equilibrated chondrite rich in troilite. Analysis, 19.88 % total iron . Washington County, Wisconsin, U.S.A. Found 1858 Iron. Octahedrite, medium (1.2mm) (IIIA). Masses of 60lb, 16lb, 10lb and 8lb were found in 1858. Two more masses, 16.2lb and 33lb, were found in 1872. A further mass, about 10lb, was found in 1880. Two masses, 6.5lb and 3lb, were said to have been found before 1890. Masses of 413lb, 527lb, and 1.5lb were discovered in 1952, a 9.5lb mass was found in 1964. Analysis, 8.34 %Ni, 20.8 ppm-Ga, 44.5 ppm.Ge, 2.6 ppm.Ir . After the appearance of a fireball and detonations, two stones, 800g and 700g respectively, fell and were found five days later. The first being subsequently lost.
