<reviewbody>this sounds a lot like big railroad blues mixed with real early minglewood. it sounds like you could sing the words to either over it. this is worth listening to about once. the singing... is a little unbearable... GOOD THING THE BOYS HAD THEIR OWN WORDS!! :D</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This is the original Minglewood Blues, not New Minglewood Blues, which was a staple of the Grateful Dead. Noah Lewis also wrote and recorded New Minglewood Blues a couple of years later. The "new" minglewood is very similar to the Dead's version, which they called New, New Minglewood or All New Minglewood Blues.

Anyway.. This is great stuff, and truly deserves a much better rating than what's been given by some of the other reviewers.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Like many before and many many after not only Grateful Dead followed in the footsteps of the Great Greats, and as we all know Grateful Dead rearranged this moldy oldie & named it All New New Minglewood Blues. Now all us guru apprentices including me. Check out the other 78's and enjoy them as they are (some corney some not) and remember American Idol is probably going to be rewriting them for their next albulm.</reviewbody>
