As usual at this time, the W. Leo Daniel Plow company of Fort Worth, Texas is proud to present his president, Plow Daniel, and his hero Billy Boy. I'm a plowing crew, I'm a happy child and I'm plowing wild, and the hillbilly boys are on the edge. I like mountain music, I love mountain music, and I like red and green. I like my sons and daughters, and I like my children and grandkids. I know all these things that you play, and we try to make them all happy. We hold still the day. Please pass the buskies, pass me one of those guys, and we'll do something about it. Oh, damn it, you killed a friend. History and how do you do friends everywhere? These rip-storing, wide-awake hillbilly boys back with a 15-minute program that entertains you. So just get a comfortable chair and sit for the next 15 minutes and try to listen to the music of the hillbilly boys. They're all in a good spirit, it seems like, and they're going to, well, they've got a good old instrument to start the program out. It's a make-a-wicker going far down, and it's going to be a Washington Lee flint. Oh, yeah. Thank you very much, boys. When Hubby sits down to the dinner table, he may be tired and worn out from a hard day's work, and he may not be in the most cheerful mood, but one thing is certain. Good, wholesome appetizing food will soon take effect, and the tired feeling will receive less attention. And by the time the meal is finished, Daddy may really smile and be sociable. But remember, ladies, it takes good, wholesome, tasty food to accomplish this. You simply cannot afford to take chances at such a critical time. So prepare in advance for good, white, fluffy biscuits by using hillbilly, that good flour. Please pack the biscuits, Daddy. My goodness, Leon, what's the matter with you on this program? Leon's feeling good, so why are you feeling so good on the program? I'm just going to ask him to come right up here and tell everybody about Old Yazoo. Take me back to Old Yazoo, everything I've been through, I can't stand it, I just must land it, I can't get back to Old Yazoo. If you don't like green fries, get your eyes and beans, if you don't like green ham, get your ham and greens. Oh, how long am I going to have to wait when that sensation gets, my mind made of things I'll jam if I'm going back to Old Yazoo. Oh, take me back to Old Yazoo, everything I've been through, I can't stand it, I just must land it, I can't get back to Old Yazoo. Oh, take me back to Old Yazoo, everything I've been through, I can't stand it, I just must land it, I can't get back to Old Yazoo. Almost everything you do, people got their eyes on you, it comes at it, don't you hear me, Leon, I'm going back to Old Yazoo. If you don't like your eyes and beans, get your beans and rice, if you don't like your greens and ham, get your ham and greens. Oh, how much longer must I have to wait, wait until that sensation gets, my mind is made of things I'll jam if I'm going back to Old Yazoo. Thank you very much, Leon, that was Leon going back to Old Yazoo. And while we're talking about traveling back to Old Yazoo, all of us might as well go back to beautiful Texas. You've all read the beautiful story of the country far over the sea. From whence came our ancestors to establish this land of the free, and how some folk who still like to travel to see what they have over there. But when they go learn, it's not like the books, and they find there is none to compare. It's beautiful, beautiful Texas, where the beautiful blue moon is grown, we're proud of our forefathers, as far as the animals. You can live on the plains or the mountains, or down where the sea feeters grow, and you'll feel it's beautiful Texas, the most beautiful state that we know. You can travel on beautiful highways, by the cities of village and farm, or sail up above on the skyway, and the beauty below you has gone. White cotton, green forest, blue rivers, stolen wheat beans and fruit trees at best. You can love children's day, and then you will say that Texas has beauty to spare. Oh, beautiful, beautiful Texas, where the beautiful blue moon is grown, we're proud of our forefathers, as far as the animals. You can live on the plains or the mountains, or down where the sea feeters grow, and you'll feel it's beautiful Texas, the most beautiful state that we know. Thank you very much, boys, that was Leon the Texas songbird and Horace the little lovebird singing together on beautiful Texas that was composed by my father, Governor W. Leo Daniels. And boys, getting back to our mail here, we have a letter from good old Dallas, Texas. It says, Dear Hillbilly Boys, I surely do enjoy your programs and have used your hillbilly flower for some time. I went to a slumber party and the hostess served iced coffee, and it was simply grand, and you can imagine my surprise when she told me it was hillbilly. Well, you can bet your bottom dollar will be hillbilly for me from here on out. I am planning to party myself before long, and I intend to serve muffins made from hillbilly flower, and of course I'm going to buy some ice, some hillbilly coffee and make some iced coffee. I would like to hear Leon sing, I Love You Truly, and that's down your friend and booster, Badus Lee Allison of good old Dallas, Texas. Well, we surely are glad to hear from her, and we like to hear from all of our friends and the housewives, especially the use of hillbilly flower and other hillbilly products. Yes, sir, he just sit right down and write us a card or letter and address it to the W. Leo Daniel Flower Company of Fort Worth, Texas. We will be glad to hear from everybody. And now getting on with the program here, we have Horace Little on first. Horace looks like he's all smiles today, so come on up here Horace and tell him about Apple Blossom. Music Rain or shine, an apple blossom time, we'll be so happy that morning too. Bows will shine, an apple blossom time, but they can't bring out too soon. We'll do what else we ought to on this first day. Walk right in the church, yes, do walk right out of town. Oh, if rain or shine, an apple blossom time, you'll be mine, sweetheart, all mine. Music Rain or shine, an apple blossom time, we'll be so happy that morning too. Bows will shine, an apple blossom time, but they can't bring out too soon. We'll do what else we ought to under the sun. Walk right in the church, yes, do walk right out of town. Rain or shine, an apple blossom time, you'll be mine, sweetheart, all mine. Thank you very much, Horace, that was mighty fine. Well, Mickey Wicky, get your little fiddle up here and let's have this good old breakdown before our time.
