The Elephant and the Lion. Rock sculptures are
seen m Seven Pagodas that -were executed about
twelve centuries ago, if not more. They belong to
the period of the Pallavas. The sculptures and
temples at Seven Pagodas are acknowledged to be
some of the finest archaeological and artistic
specimens in India.
