INTERNATIONALISM

THEOSOPHY is international in so far that it
belongs to no one nation, to no one people. The
Divine Wisdom is for everybody who desires it.
No one is disqualified if he seeks.

International means an exchange between
nations, exchange of trust, confidence, under-
standing, and this must be mutual and will
never be forced by outside treaties, it must be
won. Each nation must win the confidence and
trust of other nations, must in fact set out
to win that confidence; only thus can it be
mutual, built on a firm foundation and bring
about understanding, cordiality and peace.

Internationalism would evidently be the
outcome of brotherhood, universal brotherhood
cannot exist without internationalism; yet the
words are by no means interchangeable, but
are dependent on each other when dealing with
