These do not agree with any named species in the British Museum. (b) Braconidae (Cheloninae). Phanerotoma sp. 1 from Madara. (c) Eumenidae. (Solitary true wasps.) Odynerus sp. near 0. floricola Sauss. 1 from *Ain Sala. (d) Pompilidae (Psammocharidae). (Solitary fossorial wasps preying on spiders, with which they provision their nests.) (1) Pfatyderes sp. 1 from Bani Jafnan. (2) Pompilus sp. near P. platyacanthw Kohl. 1 from 'Ain Sala. (e) Scoliidae. (Solitary parasitic wasps. In cases where the habits of these insects are known they are parasitic on the larvae of beetles of the Cockchafer type, but this may not apply to the genus referred to here.) Iswara sp., possibly I. chobauti Andre, a species recorded from Baluchistan. 7 specimens (all males) from Bani Jallab, Wabar, Shanna, Naifa and Qa'amiyat. The males in this genus are fully winged and, presumably, good fliers; the females are short-winged and probably quite unable to fly. (/) Bees. Megachile sp. (a small leaf-cutter bee). 1 specimen from Abal Khadim. (g) Ants. (1) Camponotus (Tanaemyrmex)
