<reviewbody>a blistering set from the short lived key lime pie lineup, with Morgan Fitcher (ex Harm Farm (a truely brilliant camperish combo themselves)and later of 10,000 Maniacs) on violin (she's no Jonathan Segel..bot then again who is?) and the MIGHTY David Immergluck (Counting Crows, Monks Of Doom) on guitars, peddle steel and mandolin. Despite being mono and lacking a certain high end sparkle, this is still a magnificent find.with great playing and a clutch of rare tracks, Before I Met You,Sweet Virginia, Loser and even Act Naturally!?! (for cryin' out loud) A wonderful download and I suggest you use Jonathan Segel's beautiful but short Pappy and Harriet set from this year as filler. Talking of Harm Farm, anyone out there know if a good live tape of that legendary San Francisco band exists?</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I would give this 4.5 stars if I could! I have to admit it's not perfect 5-star quality, since it was taped off the air on a less-than-stellar boombox. It was my first of what is now many CVB shows that I attended, and was truly a great experience. I am so glad that I am able to share it via Archive.org, and that people seem to be listening to one of my favorite bands ever! THE GREAT CVB!!!

<reviewbody>Thanks so much for posting this show! I was there and it remains one of the best shows ever. I also had a tape of the KDHX re-broadcast and made several copies. But they slipped through the cracks somehow through the years. Yes, the quality is a little lo-fi - but it's still better than most bootleg recordings - because they completely tore the place down! I'd seen CVB a few times, but this show and tour really was special.
Thanks again!!

<reviewbody>What a magical show. I just wanted to point out that the track listed as "Life is Grand", is actually their song "She Divines Water", in case anyone cares.</reviewbody>
