56279 a blistering set from the short lived key lime pie lineup, with Morgan Fitcher (ex Harm Farm (a truely brilliant camperish combo themselves)and later of 10,000 Maniacs) on violin (she's no Jonathan Segel..bot then again who is?) and the MIGHTY David Immergluck (Counting Crows, Monks Of Doom) on guitars, peddle steel and mandolin. Despite being mono and lacking a certain high end sparkle, this is still a magnificent find.with great playing and a clutch of rare tracks, Before I Met You,Sweet Virginia, Loser and even Act Naturally!?! (for cryin' out loud) A wonderful download and I suggest you use Jonathan Segel's beautiful but short Pappy and Harriet set from this year as filler. I was there and it remains one of the best shows ever. I also had a tape of the KDHX re-broadcast and made several copies. But they slipped through the cracks somehow through the years. Yes, the quality is a little lo-fi - but it's still better than most bootleg recordings - because they completely tore the place down!
