29941 Tape sounds great, of course. Thanks for getting it up so quickly, oh gnarly one! The second set is an excellent snapshot of cutting edge D'elf... all new songs (2004 and later, as far as I can tell) except for one; it all sounds very dark and dirty. Not much groove, no funk, no Manerian astral flights (Randy Roos' contributions notwithstanding.) Not exactly sullen, but something like that. It closes with the rare Jerry Leake showcase "Kind of A Three", which I believe is based on an ancient Indian sacred ritual of some sort. Also I believe the "Sand" is a rare example of a second set-opening sentir song. It roams freely. The first set contains some highly improvisational passages (probably at least one "Improv" in the final setlist). A gnawa tune appears to be a "quick" end to the first set, but then Micro goes electric, and the combined songs go for over a half hour.
