<reviewbody>The Montreal supreme VJ/DJ/Artist collevtive in terms of minimal house finally launched it's own netlabel and have already been fairly active within a short amount of time. Piknic Moderne is a weekly open air mini club on Ile-St. Helene in Montreal, a beautiful spot where you have a great view on the city. Because of this years great turnout, the organizers asked the Epsilonlab guys
to do a soundtrack, which should combine various
elements from all genres featured on the Piknic Moderne parties. Eloi Brunelles' theme is a fusion stomper, merging groovey Chicago pounds with 80's retro saw synths and Jazzy cutups. Very energetic and forward. The Mossa cut is a profound detailed work that digs out the shuffle funk grooves, to keep it modern. The Pheek remix is of mental nature, with twirling pads and
tactical beat maneuvers. Mateo Murphy once again loses himself in putting out a monster trance anthem, that is both driving, highly emotional that will bomb the clubs in and outside of Montreal at 5 am. Wicked, and a distinct exclamation mark to watch out for Epsilonlab.</reviewbody>
