*FIXED VERSION* Garage A Trois April 30, 2010 New Orleans, LA @ One Eyed Jack's - 11pm DPA 4021 (ORTF / FOB / ~10 feet high) > Oade m148 > Sony D50 (24/48) > Memory Stick > Cool Edit Pro 2.1 (normalized from 17:50 to end, resampled to 16/44) > CD Wave Editor (tracking) > flac Taped & Transfered by RLBayers. Thanks to BPorter for loaning me his rig. Disc One: 1. Electric Doorbell Machine > 2. Fragile 3. Power Patriot 4. Rescue Spreaders 5. Dory's Day Out 6. Dugout 7. Dwarf 8. "Jazz Jesus" interlude 9. Punk Rock Guilt 10. Fat Redneck Gangster > 11. The Real Morning Party (James Booker style) Disc Two: 1. Big Whopper 2. Computer Crimes 3. 1969 (Stooges cover) 4. Encore: 5. Twin Killers (Deerhoof cover) > 6. ???? > 7. ???? Garage A Trois: Stanton Moore: drums Skerik: sax Mike Dillon: percussion, vibraphones Marco Benevento: keys Notes: I only normalized from minute 18 to the end. The first 18 minutes are loud enough (including a few peaks that aren't too bad), then I turned the volume down on the recorder and I guess I turned it down too low. "It's OK Little Timmy" "What's that sound?" "That's Jazz Jesus coming to save you." "Jazz Jesus? Ooh, Jazz Jesus." "I had a dream last night with the ghost of Corky standing beside the nine foot high Jazz Jesus. Jazz Jesus lowered one of his many hands and the ghost of Corky grabbed his finger, and he pulled his finger and this ... sound ... emi... tted ... from ... Jazz ... Jesus' ... mighty ... mouth" *FIXED* My original jazz fest torrents (all 5) were resampled with dbpoweramp, which introduced some nasty noise artifacts and really degraded the sound. I'm fixing them all and re-torrenting, so please delete the old ones. You'll notice a huge difference I think - RLBayers 5/18/10
