Our prices are lower than ever before; our facilities greater; our goods we guarantee equal to any and superior to most of those in the market. We challenge competition in prices, quality of workmanship and design; and promptness in shipment.
A careful examination of this catalogue is invited. It will always give us pleasure to receive your personal calls, and we will gladly place our stock at your disposal for inspec- tion and comparison. We ask a thorough examination of our goods and quotations, and respectfully solicit your orders.
i. For successful dealing in these- goods, a varied, rather than heavy stock is essential. Unless, therefore, your retail trade in them is large, so as to require quantities in all li »eSj feiv oj a kind, and a great assortment of designs will be found most profitable.

With this before you, take time to study fke needs of your market, in making your orders. Many have found the trade in these goods comparatively unprofitable, only because, buying hurriedly of traveling Agents, with insufficient time for judicious selection, they have made rash purchases.
3. Except before the holidays, :\nd for special occasions, order but little more than you require to keep your assortment full,
but order often. This will keep your stock always fresh, and will materially enhance your sales.
4, All ways supply full shipping directions. It will save you and us expense and trouble. Special freight rates cannot be
obtained on orders weighing, when boxed for shipment, less than 200 pounds. We guarantee no rates of freight; but will always make every effort to obtain the lowest possible.
5, Examine (on the last page of this cover,) our list of Sample Cases especially prepared for those about to start a trade in
Brackets, or such as habitually carry a small stock. The selections comprise only our leading goods, salable every- ivhcre. and are subject to OUT regular discounts for Cash, ,Ki'-.

Bills under $50— 60 clays net list with note or acceptance. Bills $75 to $125— GO days net witli uote or acceptance, 5 per ct. discount. Bills $150 to $200—90 days with note or acceptance, 8 per ct. discount. Bills $250 to $500—4 months with note or acceptance, 10 per ct. discount.
