This l11ode! will acconl11lodate the regular twelve exposure

odak K. c. Filt11 cartridges, and thus offers the daylight-all-
the-\vay feature of all I(odaks.
The shutter is the Kodak Dall Dearing \vith cable release,
\yhich \vorks not only for bulb and tinle exposures, but has variable
indicated speeds of 7}-r;, -io and rJo second. The leaves, opening
in the shape of a star, admit the greatest possible amount of light,
for a beÌ\\'een-the-Iens shutter, at each exposure.
The canlera is furnished with either Ineniscus achronlatic or
rapid rectilinear lens. In both cases the lens is carefully tested
and nlust confort11 to the high I(odak standard before it is allowed
to go on the canlera.
Sinlplicity marks this call1era in every respect. It is Inacle
\\"ith the ne,v style back-unusually easy to rell10ve for luading
and unloading. It has an autol11atic focusing lock, \vhich pernlits
the call1era to be Lrought to focus quickly for objects at any dis-
tance. The finder is of the ne\v collapsible type; it is reversible,
and Ì\vo tripod sockets are furnished, so that the call1era l11ay be
easily used in either the vertical or horizontal position.
So conlpact that it ,vill readily slip into the pocket, this
call1era offers that high standard of efficiency which is inseparable
frol11 the IZodak idea. The back and beel are Inade of alunllnunl,
the covering is genuine leather, and nletal parts are finished in
nickel anù black enamel.

The Catlleras are equipped \vith rISIng and sliding front-a
great convenience in architectural and 1nan)' fOrIns of landscape
photography, and an autOl11atic focusing lock is provided so that
either can quickly be brought to focus at an) 0 distance.

\Yhile these 1110de1s, of course. are designed for the use of our
roll films, either can be loaded with plates at any tinle by the
addition of a sitllple plate adapter or cotnbinatioll back (supplied
extra). This is interchangeable with the regular back, is pro\yided
with ground glass for focusing and takes double plate holders.

Palloram Kodaks

The Panoram Kodak does a special kind of \york - a very
desirable kind of \york \vhich cannot be done \yith a catTIera of
any other type.
As its natne itnplies, it is constructed so as to take pano-
ralnic pictures of outdoor groups, landscapes, n10untain vie\vs,
and the like.
For instance. in n1aking a picture of an outdoor group of
hvelve or fifteen people, \vith an ordinary camera, they \vould
have to be arranged in h\'o or three ro\vs to get goocl sized i111ages.
but \\'ith a Panoran1 they can be arranged in a senli-circle. at a
given distance from the can1era. and all appear in the picture in
one ro\v and of the proper relative size.
\gain. in nlaking a
landscape. the s\veep of the Panoran1 lens \yill take in the COlTI-
plete vie\v, \y hile the scope of the ordinary Catllera could only
pern1Ït a portion of it to be taken at one exposure.
In addition to its use for n1aking horizontal pictures. the
canlera may be as easily used In the vertical position, and
decidedly unique pictures of high \yaterfalls. 1110untain peaks and
such subjects can be secured.
The lens is lTIounted on a pivot and \v hen the exposure is to
be Inade. by pressing a lever the lens auto111atically s\vings on
this pivot froin one side of the Catllera to the other 0 en1bracing an
angle of over 100 degrees. .At the satnc titne, the shutter operates
autoinatically \yith great precision, insuring even illun1ination
. throughout the exposure.
There is no complication \vhatever in operation, the \vhole
process is autolnatic; it's just as easy to make pictures \vith the
Panoranl as \vith any other I{odak.
Those \V ho already have other IZoclaks or contel11plate pur-
chasing such, \vill find this a valuable addition to their photo

graphic equipment for the Inaking of out-of-the-orclinary pictures.
Panoram IZodaks use the regular daylight loading N. C.
Kodak filtn. they are carefully 111ade, have genuin
leather cover-
ings and nickeled fittings.
The No.1 has a scope of 112 degrees. while the No.4 enl-
braces an angle of 142 degrees. Panoran1 J{odaks cannot be
used successfully indoors.

The Special Kodaks are made upon the idea of providing

containing the first announcelllent of the Six-T/zree I(odaks, it \vas
evident that these calneras \\'ere to score a great success. The
denland for thenl gre\Y, as it \vere. over night, and has steadily
kept up ever since. m
This is a natural enough condition, \vhen it is considered that

Si.r-T/zree IZodaks provide those \\'ho \\Tant the anastiglnat ad-
vantages of definition, flatness of field, and speed, at the nlinimum
of expense, \yith suitably equipped and fully reliable cameras.
To produce such canleras we have taken the regular Folding
Pocket I(odak nlodels and replaced the R. R. lens and Dall Bearing
shutter equipnlents \vith the COlllpound shutter \vith cable release
and the Cooke IZodak anastignlat lens. This lens is an anastigmat
of first quality, fully corrected and \vorking at a 111axinlum speed

Brownie El11arg-ing Camera

The average alnateur usually thinks of enlarging as an intricate,
expensIve process, reqlllnng considerable skill and expenence.
But such is not the fact. Even a youngster
can lllake first-rate enlargements \\iith a
Brownie Enlarging Call1era. It's just as
easy as printing on \T elox paper. In fact
the t\VO processes are very Inuch the saIne,
excepting that in printing, the negative and
paper are in close contact. while in enlarg-
ing, the paper is at son1e distance fronl the
negative. \vith a lens in bet\veen.
As shown in the illustration, the Dro\\Tnie
Enlarging Canlera is sit11plicity itself. It's
just a light-tight cone \vith a:1 attaclllnent at
the sl11all end to hold the negative, and
another at the large end for the paper. Pro-
vision is l11ade inside for holding the lens.
To l11ake an enlargenlent, one Inerely
places the negative and paper in place, holels the negative enclup to
the light for a specified tilne and then develops the paper as usual.
One of these inexpensive outfits \vill enable you to l11ake en-
largenlents at any titne froln your favorite negatives.

The I{odak Filtn Tank consists of a winding box, a light-
proof apron, and a heavily nickeled brass solution cup \vith cover.
In the Dro\vnie Filtn Tank, ho\vever, no cover is necessary as
the film roll itsel f is turned. All articles can be packed in the box,
making the entire outfit self-contained.
The film to be developed is placed upon a reel in the winding

Offering the same assurance of perfectly developed film as
the Kodak Film Tank. the Brownie Developing Box is a 1110dified
fonn of the sanle, so sill1ple to use that any boy or girl can readily
understand and operate it.
I t consists of a ll1etal box \\'ith coyer. just long enough to
acconllnodate a roll of
o. 1 or ^ o. 2 Bro\ynie Filnl in one loop.
To develop. the roll of filtn is inserted in the spool carrier.
and by nleans of a cord and \vinding shaft the filtn is unrolled
and carried around a roller bearing, tInts exposing the filnl to
the action of the developer.
Before unrolling the filnl the developer is poured in the box
and the cover put in place; all these operations being performed
in daylight. The filnl is then unrolled by turning the crank, \vhen
the box is rockecl on its standard for six ll1inutes. The developer
is then poured off and box filled with water to wash out developer,
after \vhich fihn is removed and fixed in daylight.
This is an excellent nleans. for those \\' ho have 1\0. 1 or No.2
Dro\ynie Canleras, of developing their filtns without the need of
skill or experience.

Velox Paper

\
elox is the very best paper for al11ateur use for it is simple
to nse, thoroughly dependable and is l1lacle in a variety of grades
an(l surfaces to fit all sorts of alllateur negatives.
It prints in any light, requires no clark rOOln and pennÏts
the alllatcur to utilize his evening hours in print Inaking. Its
sÏ1nplicity of 111anipulation and extrenle gradation nlake it suitable
for photographic \vork of every kind.
\T elox IS divided broadly into two kinds of paper called
"Regular " and 0' Special"o (hard ancl soft) each division containing
a variety of surfaces. "H.egular" papers develop quickly and are
best suited for negatives lacking contrast. "Special" papers
develop slo\vly, and give soft effects fronl hard negatives. Use
"Special" \T elox for negatives producing good results on "Printing
Out" paper (such as Solio), and "Regular" only \vith very flat

negatives (negatives lacking contrast).

\r elox surfaces: In the "Regular" class are carbon (l1latte
:-,urface), Glossy, Glossy double \veight, \T elvet, and \T elvet double
\\Teight. "Regular" \ T elvet \T elox is selni-gloss and gives prints
of exceptional beauty. This paper \vill give satisfactory results
froln very Hat negatives.
In the "Special"' class, the surfaces are Carbon (matte sur-
face), Portrait (snlooth Inatte), Portrait double \veight, Rough,
Glossy, Glo
sy double \veight. \
elvet, and \T elvet double \veight.
"Special" \ T e1\"et \T elox has a greater range than any of the
other ., Special" papers.
Royal \T elox is coated on a soft, Inello\Y-tillted stock, \vhich
\vhen re-developed affords all the soft delicacy of a rare old
etching. It is nlade in two grades, "Regular" and" S}Jecial" and
one surface, just rough enough to produce the desired effect

For landscapes, for l11arines, and in fact, for the l11ajority of
outdoor anlateur negatives, the rich green of prints on l<:odak

elyet Green produces nlost beauti ful harmonious effects, \vith
an indescribable "atn10sphere" of nature itself.
...:\nd to use this paper the anlateur has to learn no ne\v pro-
cesses nor possess extraordinary skill. Anyone ,,'ho can print
on \Telox paper can print just as successfully on Kodak Velvet
Green, as the t".o processes after exposure are identical, and the

Flash- Light Material

The simplest and safest method of
making flash-light pictures IS by means
of the Eastnlan Flash Sheets and Kodak
Flash Sheet Holder. The sheets burn
slo\vly, giving a broad, soft light, and not
so startling the subject as to give a staring
effect to the eyes.
The holder is a genuine innovation.
A sa\v tooth holds the sheet In proper
position and it is lighted fronl the back
through an aperture provided in the centre
for the purpose. In this n1anner the holder
is ahvays bet\\'een the operator anù the flash
sheet. and it n1ay be held in the hand or
supported on a tripod, a socket being
provided for the latter purpose.
