11795 The diligent Kikapu Label from Oregon introduces yet another new artist with C Photon to the Netlabel scene. The four-tracker "Gritty" moves between crisp grainmanipulations within small sonic environments, until smooth downbeat figures manage to escape from the static scenery in "Escape Theme". "Gritty" bitcrushes a pitched amenbeat from what I imagine in front of a nice eclectic chime wallpaper, at one point, the same scheme with the grainsampler plugged off again.
