This was my first taste of The Mermen ... A friend sent me this from San Francisco, in the
summer of '97, and it blew me away. Later that year I was in SF for the 30th Summer Of Love
Anniversary show, and stayed on for a week just so I could catch the band in the flesh,
the following weekend, once again at the Maritime (check out the 10/17 show)

My friend couldn't enlighten me regarding the source, but it's a sweet sounding recording.
