Our library is not a circulating library, but it is open free for consultation to all persons, from 9 A. M. to 5 P. M. daily, except Sundays and holidays. This privilege has been used by an in- creasing number of persons not officially connected with the Gar- den. It is hoped that as the Garden and Library become better known, the Library will become an active center for botanical reference work in the Borough of Brooklyn.
