As my Company is the last Infantry Conrpanj organized in GuiIforcl,and judging from the FroC' iamation by the Governor, it may be the last re« ceived by the State, I desire a few more men to join me immediately. I will leave on Monday, 5th inst., and persons desiring to join, who do not Iiave an opportunity before that time, can rejjort to my Company at Camp Mangum, near Raleigh^ All have had ample time to study the Conscript Law, and must know that all between 18 and 3Si years of age will have no opportunity to volunteer after the I^th inst. Come in and save the bounty, aj^ no bounty will be paid after the l^th. Those having unsettled business will be allowed time to wind up. Capt. Gfregory, an able officer, is now in tlii^ ounty legally authorized to raise an Artillerj'^ ompany, and those preferring this beautiful am f the service, will never have a better opportu- hity.

The following order from Gov. Clark is pub^ li^hed for your instruction: I

" Ail Companies authorized by the Governor to be raised prior to the passage of the law known as tlfl 'C<.>nsrr:ption Bill," must come to Camp Mangum near Raleigh, before the 17th day of May; otherwise th^ ^ill not bo rcccivpd. ■

All those not in by that time will be subject to the War Department under that law,and had better remaiQ n }mo till ordered by that Department." M
