Notes on Plum Crazy @ The Mystic Theater, Petaluma CA, 1-14-06
Recording gear used:
Stage mic: Crown SASS P Mk 2 stereo condenser PZM (pressure zone microphone).
PA mics: Crown CM-700 cardioid condenser microphones, 1 per PA floor stack.
The PA at The Mystic is stereo to the outer pair & mono to the inner pair.
The PA mics were focussed on the stereo pair.
Mixer: Shure FP 42 (PA mics only).
Recording device: Sonic Devices 744T (24/48) (stage mic pre-amp as well).
Transfer: firewire>laptop>audacity>Sam7.2(24/48>16/44.1+all edits).
Taper's note:
I had an issue with the pre-roll function on my recorder, which I had enabled,
but which didn't work. This happened acouple of days before, but I hadn't
played the previous file yet, and didn't know of the malfunction. My apologies
for the late start on t01.
