Tau Eta Sigma Dental Technical Fraternity was founded at Durham Technical Institute, Durham, N. C. on March 11, 1969. This fraternity is dedicated to achieving excellence within the discipline of dental technology. Some of the main objectives of this society are to promote a greater degree of public recognition for the contribution rendered to the dental community by dental technology, and to appropriately honor undergraduate students in dental technology for attaining and maintaining a high degree of scholarship.
