Watkins Family Hour Nov 18 - 8:30 p.m. Sara and Sean Watkins are a brother and sister duo and members of the band Nickel Creek. They will be joined by some very special guests for the Watkins Family Hour. Nickle [sic] Creek recently won their first Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album after four previous Grammy nominations. Individually, the members of Nickel Creek have performed or recorded with The Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Bela Fleck, Glen Phillips, John Paul Jones and others. Though originally created as a bluegrass band, their music expands on those influences by incorporating Beatles-flavored psychedelia, left-of-center alt rock, pop, folk and more.
