I'm one of them, born in 1941, and listening to these archives is a deeply emotional experience that reveals to me what continuous deprivation, fear and personal sacrifice my parents went through along with others of their generation in the US, Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa, not to mention those in countries invaded by Germany, Italy and Russia.
