<reviewbody>i'm only writing this review in response to the previous one, if Mighty Mouse was so happy to find this rare collection-- why did he give it one star???
of course, not every audio bit is clear, some are very fuzzy and hard to hear... but for the most part it is as listenable as anything else on the archive...
if you expect crystal clear perfect quality, then expect to pay for it as well...</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>an exceptional collection</reviewtitle>

<reviewbody>I'd like to thank the person that uploaded this important collection of recordings. I am listening to some of them today, Holocaust Memorial Day overhere in Israel. It is frightening and sad to hear the things as they happened back then and knowing the unfolding of events, the terrible price paid by all involved.

<reviewbody>As well as all those still alive who fought in it, there are millions now in their sixties who were born shortly before, during, or shortly after WW2. I'm one of them, born in 1941, and listening to these archives is a deeply emotional experience that reveals to me what continuous deprivation, fear and personal sacrifice my parents went through along with others of their generation in the US, Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa, not to mention those in countries invaded by Germany, Italy and Russia. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making these archives available as historic records and as memorials to the many people who died so bravely and so young to give us the free world we have now.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>We've all heard snippets from FDR's speeches, and have heard brief cuts from news broadcasts.

Here, at our fingertips, are the primary documents of the war that saved humanity from permanent enslavement.

The person / persons who uploaded these files has done a greater service than he / she will ever imagine.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.</reviewbody>
