Freely available bootleg software and other works free for distrubution on archive.org. Awesome, I can uninstall limewire now. What's next kiddie porn? People's credit reports? Confidential and classified documents? Communication to murderers and orders to commit atrocities?.... Oh wait, we already have tons of those:

I think internet archives is a great idea, it's a kind of library. That something is in it, doesn't mean it should be used or abused, it's too bad that some individuals can't be more upstanding than to even put such content here in the first place.
I don't think the site should be held accountable for the atrocities of the people who use it unless the site is here specifically for them. Information should be a free for all, what abusive minded individuals do with it should be their own responsibility and they should be accountable accordingly, and within reason.
There's always room for error in any person, people unknowingly and unwittingly commit errors all the time, but there's a difference between that error being an accident and that error being intentional, and it's those intentional ones that ruin things for everyone else.
It's too bad there are such hateful, spiteful people in the world, but should we let them ruin life for the rest of us?
