Last night after grokking an incredible show from 1974 (9/21/74, Great Eyes, Peggy-O, China Doll and a 17 min "other worldly" Dew), Air Garcia suggested this show as an encore:

What a unique show. Starts out with a very nice Might as Well and cruises along through 4 standard first set songs. Then at Minglewood things start to heat up. A nice Bertha, LL>Supplication and a rockin Sugaree. Promised Land closes the first set and then the fun really begins.

The second set has not one but two never been done before or after transitions. The Set opens with a beautiful Eyes. If you like the faster paced ones from 75 into the 80s then you will love this. Eyes then transitions for the only time, seamlessly into TMNS and this works really well. The TMNS is one of the best I've heard. We get to catch our breath during Must of Been the Roses, but then Samson gets the place rockin again. He Gone follows and its a slow one that sounds a little different to me in the beginning, can't put my finger on it. Then to drums and this crazy sequence: TOO>Comes A Time>Franklin's Tower!! The Comes A Time>Franklin's transition is so nice you wonder why they never did it again. We finish up with a rockin Sugar Mags.

Thanks to Air Garcia for a great pick.

Thanks for your post. I think some of that 2nd set will go on tonight. TOO > CaT > Franklin's sounds very interesting.
