I was there. I taped this show on my Sony 110 cassette machine. I still have the master cassette. Of course, the damn thing is beyond mechanically shot. The housing is shot. I have an emptied surrogate cassette housing. Just spent 2 hours trying to do the transfer of the tape reels into the new housing. It's been many years since I last did this procedure. My tape is so old, wrinkled, stretched that it isn't packing onto the reels very well. I just abandoned my effort. I do have a cassette splicing jig. It only needs to play once for digitizing capture, just about 2 or 3 minutes of tape playback is all we need. Sound Forge will do the trick from there. I can do that too -- still have my Nakamichi 550 cassette deck. I've dusted it off, cleaned up the transport, heads, capstan, pinch roller. It plays tapes nicely.
Question: a) Anyone know where there's another AUD tape of 73-06-10? or, b) Anyone want to help me out with my tape? I've been thinking about this for one year. Finally tried today. Hit me up, or link me to the AUD tape source please. Many thanks.
